Introduction

AMIT India visits GLORY MACHINERY as part of a focused technical evaluation of stainless steel surface finishing equipment. On May 26 and May 28, 2026, a five-member delegation from AMIT in India made two visits to GLORY MACHINERY. The meetings combined a factory tour, detailed engineering discussions and an on-site review of an operating polishing line. The purpose was to develop a clearer understanding of the customer’s sheet processing requirements and the equipment configurations that may support their project.

Factory Visit and Technical Discussion

During the factory visit, the AMIT team toured the GLORY MACHINERY production workshop and reviewed how stainless steel surface finishing equipment is designed, manufactured and assembled. Discussions covered the relationship between machine structure, abrasive unit arrangement, material handling and the final surface result. The delegation also learned about our approach to component inspection, assembly checks and quality control before equipment testing and delivery.

Visit to an Operating Coil-to-Coil Polishing Line

GLORY MACHINERY also accompanied the delegation to an existing customer’s factory, where the visitors observed a Coil-to-Coil Polishing Line in operation. This visit provided practical reference beyond drawings and technical descriptions. The AMIT team could observe machine operating stability, the material flow through the line, the surface finishing effect and the working sequence used by production personnel.

Seeing a running line also helped the delegation assess production efficiency and understand how equipment configuration influences continuous processing. The operating machine was a coil-to-coil system, while the project under discussion is a sheet-to-sheet line. The two equipment types serve different material forms and were evaluated separately throughout the visit.

Interest in a Sheet-to-Sheet Polishing Machine Line

The AMIT representatives showed strong interest in a Sheet-to-Sheet Polishing Machine Line for stainless steel sheets. Depending on the selected abrasive process and machine configuration, this type of line can be designed for No.4, Hairline and Scotch-Brite surface finishing. Final equipment selection must be based on verified input material, sheet dimensions, target finish, required capacity and downstream handling needs.

No order or contract was concluded during the visits. The discussions were technical and exploratory, with the objective of defining a suitable solution for the customer’s actual production conditions.

Technical Topics Discussed

The two teams reviewed the sheet feeding and conveying system, No.4 polishing and grinding units, and optional Scotch-Brite and Hairline finishing arrangements. They also discussed an automatic film laminating system for protecting the finished surface, together with sheet stacking and unloading options for the line’s delivery end.

Additional attention was given to machine automation and maintenance. Control logic, operator workflow, routine access to wear parts and practical maintenance planning can all affect long-term production performance. Production speed and surface consistency were discussed together because stable finishing quality depends on coordinated material feeding, abrasive condition, contact pressure and process settings. Any proposed speed and configuration will require confirmation against representative material and the customer’s required finish standard.

Future Cooperation

The two visits gave AMIT and GLORY MACHINERY a more detailed understanding of the project requirements. Direct workshop communication and the operating-line inspection created a useful basis for the next stage of technical proposal development, configuration review and commercial discussion.
