GLORY MACHINERY welcomed Indian customer Nivesha Alloys on April 15, 2024, for a factory visit and a detailed technical discussion about stainless steel sheet surface finishing. The visit focused on a 1600mm Sheet-to-Sheet Polishing Machine Line and the practical requirements for producing consistent No.4 and Hairline finishes on stainless steel sheets.
During the same trip to Guangzhou, the customer also visited the Canton Fair. This provided an additional opportunity to exchange information about stainless steel processing applications, market requirements, and future cooperation.

Factory Visit and Technical Evaluation
At the GLORY MACHINERY factory, the Nivesha Alloys team inspected the structure and working principles of our 1600mm Sheet-to-Sheet polishing equipment. Discussions covered the sheet conveying arrangement, enclosed processing units, operating controls, automation functions, and the different mechanical configurations used for No.4 and Hairline surface finishing.
The customer also reviewed GLORY MACHINERY’s manufacturing and assembly capabilities. For a sheet finishing project, the final machine arrangement must match the stainless steel grade, incoming surface condition, sheet dimensions, required finish, production target, and factory conditions. These points were discussed directly so that the proposed solution could be evaluated against the customer’s actual processing requirements.

1600mm No.4 and Three-Head Hairline Finishing Solution
Following the technical communication and evaluation, Nivesha Alloys confirmed an order comprising two 1600mm No.4 polishing machines and one enclosed Hairline finishing unit equipped with three processing heads. The equipment was prepared for stainless steel sheet processing and formed part of the customer’s Sheet-to-Sheet surface finishing solution.
No.4 finishing is widely used to create a controlled brushed appearance on stainless steel sheets. Hairline finishing produces a longer, directional grain pattern. Although both are decorative surface finishes, they require different abrasive arrangements and process control. The selected equipment configuration allowed the customer to address both requirements with dedicated processing units.

The line design also supports automatic sheet movement through the relevant processing stages. A properly configured conveying and control system helps maintain a stable production flow while reducing unnecessary manual handling. Actual operating parameters must be adjusted according to the material and the required surface result.
Container Loading Completed on May 28, 2024
After manufacturing, assembly, and shipment preparation were completed, the machines were loaded into containers on May 28, 2024. The equipment modules were protected and positioned for international transportation to India. The following loading pictures document key stages of the shipment process.

Container loading is an important part of an overseas machinery project. Equipment dimensions, weight distribution, protective wrapping, lifting points, and container space must be considered before loading. GLORY MACHINERY coordinates these practical details to support safe transportation of polishing and finishing equipment.
Customer Site Running Video in India
After installation at Nivesha Alloys in India, the 1600mm Sheet-to-Sheet No.4 and Hairline polishing equipment was put into operation. The customer site video below shows the actual machine running condition and the movement of material through the processing equipment.
The running video provides practical evidence of the delivered equipment operating at the customer’s site. It also demonstrates the transition from factory evaluation and technical confirmation to manufacturing, container loading, overseas delivery, and production use.
Supporting International Stainless Steel Processors
The Nivesha Alloys project reflects GLORY MACHINERY’s experience in supplying Sheet-to-Sheet polishing equipment for international stainless steel processors. Successful overseas projects require clear technical communication, realistic process planning, suitable machine configuration, and coordinated shipment preparation.
GLORY MACHINERY continues to develop automatic stainless steel sheet polishing solutions for No.4, Hairline, Scotch-Brite, and other surface finishing requirements. We welcome metal processing companies from India and other global markets to discuss material samples, target finishes, production requirements, and customized equipment configurations.
