In May 2026, GLORY MACHINERY completed a high-configuration 1300 mm stainless steel coil-to-coil polishing line for Foshan Jindafa Metal Company in Foshan, China. The line is designed for 0.2-1.0 mm thin-gauge stainless steel coil and combines No.4 and hairline surface-finishing processes in one continuous production route.

High-Configuration No.4 and Hairline Finishing System
The surface-finishing section uses four enclosed No.4 polishing heads, followed by dedicated hairline-processing equipment. This configuration gives the customer a flexible route for producing No.4 and hairline finishes while maintaining continuous strip transport through the line. Final abrasive selection and process settings depend on the incoming coil surface and the approved finish sample.
Servo Drive and Line Integration
All main working motors use INOVANCE servo motors to support coordinated speed control and responsive adjustment across the operating sections. The decoiling, recoiling and 6-high leveling equipment were integrated with Foshan Texiang Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. This combination supports stable handling of thin-gauge coil before and after surface finishing.
Centralized Polishing Control
The HMI provides centralized monitoring and adjustment for the polishing-head section. Operators can review operating status and coordinate the four No.4 heads from one control interface, supporting repeatable setup during commissioning and production.
Project Significance
According to the project record, this installation was developed as Foshan’s first high-end thin-gauge stainless steel coil polishing line. Its business value lies in combining thin-strip handling, 6-high leveling, multi-head No.4 polishing, hairline finishing and recoiling in one integrated line for local stainless steel coil processing.
